Alli Peterson, Nutrition advisor
Alli’s passion for naturopathic medicine and holistic living began in 2010 with her employment at the National University of Natural Medicine. Through personal exploration and her work at the University, she came to know and understand the deep power that personalized nutrition has to create optimal health and well-being. Her nutrition knowledge is coupled with a deep love of cooking and baking utilizing whole foods and an arsenal of healing ingredients.

With a diploma in Diet and Nutritional Advising, Alli is well-versed in a variety of nutritional strategies to help individuals address their health conditions with food as medicine. Working with a deep vault of delicious, healthy recipes alongside her enthusiastic, motivational approach, Alli derives great joy in assisting the patients of Coeur d’Alene Healing Arts in transforming deep-seated behavioral patterns and paving the way for healthy lifestyle changes. She is deeply honored to be an advocate and resource for the patients of Coeur d’ Alene Healing Arts.
When not engaged with patients, Alli enjoys teaching fitness classes, acting in local theater productions, going on long neighborhood podcast walks, spending time at the lake with her family, and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.
Dr. David campbell, DSOM, EAMP, LAC
Dr. David Campbell is passionate about natural medicine and holistic healing. He has been pursuing his interests in biology, natural health, and the science of consciousness for decades, and he enjoys applying his depth of understanding to his practice of Holistic Chinese Medicine. Dr. Campbell earned his Doctorate of Science in Oriental Medicine (DSOM) at the National University of Natural Medicine NUNM. David was drawn to practicing acupuncture and East Asian Medicine because of the transformative experiences that he has had as a patient, and he is inspired by the powerful effectiveness of these ancient healing practices on a regular basis.

Dr. Campbell enjoys personalizing care for each unique patient, and he strives to offer the best support for healing, personal growth, and self-empowerment. Dr. Campbell integrates manual therapies to expand the impact of treatments, as he is trained in Shiatsu, Sotai, CranioSacral, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Yin Tuina. He is happy to release musculoskeletal pain with orthopedic acupuncture, (dry needling) as well as help resolve issues of body, mind, and spirit through 氣 Qì focused treatments. Dr. Campbell is comfortable treating chronic disease with 蠱症 Gǔ Syndrome herbal methods that he learned from Dr. Heiner Fruehauf, PhD, LAc, and he finds that such patients often respond well to the subtler techniques of Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion that he learned from Dr. Bob Quinn, DAOM, LAc.
In his practice of Holistic Chinese Medicine, Dr. Campbell integrates acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet, lifestyle, and self-care techniques to form a comprehensive process of healing for each patient. He will often integrate diverse modalities, such as sound therapy, cold laser therapy, moxibustion, and essential oils into his acupuncture treatments. He also provides approachable steps for you to empower your personal healing between treatments to build on the progress made in each session. David looks forward to meeting with you and helping you to live with greater harmony and vitality.

Melissa Coburn, Herbalist, M.S.
Melissa Coburn is a clinical herbalist with over 20 years of experience working with plants to support health and well-being. What began as a personal passion evolved into a clinical practice that combines traditional herbal wisdom with evidence-based research.
She works closely with each client to understand the full picture—health history, lifestyle, diet, and personal goals—before developing individualized herbal protocols. Melissa believes the most effective herbal support comes from listening and tailoring care to each person's unique needs.

She holds an M.S. in Clinical Herbal Medicine, along with advanced training in holistic cancer care, digestive health and the microbiome, and women's hormone health. Her practice is rooted in the belief that herbs can gently and powerfully support the body’s innate ability to find balance.
Katie McMurray, Counseling
At RootWise Counseling and Coaching, the desire is to help each individual get to the root of life’s issues in order to walk into healing and wholeness. The trauma-informed principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) alongside faith-informed counseling and coaching are used.

Katie McMurray of RootWise welcomes each person with a listening ear and a compassionate heart. With over ten years in counseling and education, she nurtures a culture in kindness, where faith fuels hope. She desires a world where every person is firmly rooted in their God given identity, emotionally whole, and thriving in life.
Katie understands that emotional torment can wreak havoc on physical and mental health. She seeks to help others get to the root of life’s issues, by providing space to process and release old wounding moments. She also guides each client in replacing negative beliefs formed in these wounding moments with new life changing positive ones. She understands the truth of biblical wisdom that people manifest in their life what they believe to be true.
Katie, who holds a secondary education degree, is a Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach, a TBRI practitioner, and a member of the Association of Christian Counselors. She has experience with Individual Trauma, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Couples, Pre-Marital, Family, and Parenting Counseling.
ty rockwell, LMT
Ty’s journey into the healing arts began in college after a neck injury from an auto accident. He discovered relief from debilitating pain through Holistic Bodywork.
After graduating from Western Washington University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts, he changed his career focus to Massage Therapy and graduated from Northwest Noetic School of Massage and Education in Spokane in 2004.

Ty has been in practice since 2005 and has worked throughout the Northwest in a variety of clinical settings including Naturopathic, Acupuncture, and Chiropractic offices treating people of all ages.
In July 2019, he opened Coeur Du Soleil Restoration Room inside CDA Healing Arts. Utilizing the amazing benefits of JOOVV Red Light therapy, and offering Coeur d’Alene’s only JOOVV Elite setup, full body light therapy is available to enhance your wellness needs.
When Ty is not in the clinic, he will most likely be found with his family, exploring the wilderness here in the beautiful Inland NW.
